Event Overview

IRONMAN 70.3 Nice is Unique, Historic, Legendary — and a 2019 World Championship host. Athletes swim 1.9km in the blue Mediterranean from Plage des Ponchettes. The iconic 1-loop bike climbs Col de Vence from sea level to the Provence hilltops — steep, spectacular and punishing — before descending back to Nice. The 2-loop run is on the legendary Promenade des Anglais, one of triathlon's most iconic finish settings. Nestled between sea and mountains, this is 70.3 racing at its most cinematic.
