Challenge Roth

Event Overview

Challenge Roth is the world's most iconic long-distance triathlon — the spiritual home of the sport. Held in the Bavarian countryside near Nuremberg, it holds the men's world record (7:24:00 by Jan Frodeno) and women's world record (8:18:13 by Anne Haug), both set here. The canal swim in Roth, the rolling Bavarian bike with the legendary Solar Hill crowd, and the run through cheering Bavarian villages to a finish in Roth's town square create an atmosphere simply unmatched anywhere in the sport. 250,000+ spectators line the course.
